CE mark stands for „Communautés Européennes” (French) or „European Communities”. The mark is a proof of compliance of a given product with European directives. Having their products marked with CE, a person launching a product confirms that:
- the essential requirements of the relevant directives have been complied with,
- their products have successfully undergone tests aimed at confirming their compliance with CE requirements
- any controlling authorities may at any time access complete product documentation (drawings, calculations) available at the producer’s seat

The European Medal is awarded by the Office of European Integration Committee and Business Centre Club. ELIKO won the European Medal for “designing tubular heaters” 26 march 2001 The company was also entered in The Great Book of European Medal.
