Guarantee conditions

1.Subject of Guarantee

The Eliko Company (General Partnership), on conditions specified herein, hereby issues a guarantee as to the quality to a purchaser for a product specified in a field Type hereinafter referred to as "heater", and agrees to repair a heater's manufacturing defect free of charge, or, should this repair be impossible, to replace a heater with another defect-free heater within the time specified in art.4 hereof.

2.Period of Guarantee

The period of guarantee shall cover 12 months from the date of purchase, but shall not exceed 24 months from the date of production.

3.Manufacturer's Obligations

Under this guarantee, the manufacturer shall repair a faulty heater, in particular the manufacturer shall:

a)repair any defects caused by the fault of the manufacturer
b)replace a faulty heater with a defect-free heater, should the repair be impossible or, if, in the manufacturer's opinion, the cost of the repair shall exceed the cost of the replacement

4.Repair Period

The repair period shall be14 days from the date of notiyfing the manufacturer of a defect and delivering a faulty heater to the manufacturer. In well-grounded cases, the repair period may be prolonged to a period necessary for fulfilling the duties herunder.

5.Scope of Guarantee

The guarantee shall cover only these defects which are caused by the fault of the manufacturer.

The guarantee shall not cover the following faults and defects caused by:

a)mechanical damage, use of chemical agents
b)breach of art. 6 hereof
c)not following the instruction manual and ensuing misuse, as well as inappropriate transport, warehousing, storage or cleaning of a heater
d)using a heater without observing generally accepted standards of using electric heating elements
e)soiling a heater with limescale or removing limescale with inappropriate chemical agents
f)using a heater in other mediums than water, e.g. in acid, oil, air etc.

6.Loss of Guarantee Rights

The purchaser shall lose their rights hereunder in the event of:

a)making any repairs or alterations to a heater on their own
b)the manufacturer's detecting any interference in any part of a heater, e.g. tearing off a handle, cutting off a plug etc.
c)disturbing, damaging or removing serial numbers or any other marks identyfing a heater
d)losing this guarantee certificate

7.Purchaser's Rights and Obligations

a)A heater shall be delivered in order to be repaired in a complete set together with this document confirmed by the seller.
b)A heater shall be repaired on condition that the provisions in art.3 herof are met and a proof of purchase of a heater shall be presented by a purchaser (a receipt, a VAT invoice).
c)In the event of finding a heater submitted for repair free from defects and in good technical order, or if a defect found is not subject to guarantee, a purchaser may be charged for the service and materials as stipulated in the manufacturer's price list.
d)A purchaser shall collect a repaired heater within 1 month from the date when the repair is to be completed or from the date of the manufacturer's notyfing a purchaser of a repair made. Should a purchaser not collect a heater within the time specified, they shall incur costs of its storage.

b)replace a faulty heat element with a defect-free heater, should the repair be impossible or, if, in the manufacturer's opinion, the cost of the repair shall exceed the cost of the replacement

The repair period shall be 14 days from the date of notiyfing the manufacturer of a defect and delivering a faulty heat element to the manufacturer. In well-grounded cases, the repair period may be prolonged to a period necessary for fulfilling the duties herunder.

The guarantee shall cover only these defects which are caused by the fault of the manufacturer.

The guarantee shall not cover the following faults and defects caused by:

a)mechanical damage, use of chemical agents
b)breach of art. 6 hereof
c)not following the instruction manual and ensuing misuse, as well as inappropriate transport, warehousing, storage or cleaning of a heat element
d)using a heater without observing generally accepted standards of using electric heating elements
e)soiling a heat element with limescale or removing limescale with inappropriate chemical agents
f)using a heat element in other mediums than these for which a heating device has been designed

6.Loss of Guarantee Rights

The purchaser shall lose their rights hereunder in the event of:

a)making any repairs or alterations to a heat element, on their own
b)the manufacturer's detecting any interference in any part of a heat element, e.g. tearing off a handle, cutting off a plug etc.
c)disturbing, damaging or removing serial numbers or any other marks identyfing a heat element,
d)losing this guarantee certificate

7.Purchaser's Rights and Obligations

a)A heat element, shall be delivered in order to be repaired in a complete set together with this document confirmed by the seller.

c)In the event of finding a heat element, submitted for repair free from defects and in good technical order, or if a defect found is not subject to guarantee, a purchaser may be charged for the service and materials as stipulated in the manufacturer's price list.

Should a purchaser not collect a heat element, within the time specified, they shall incur costs of its storage.
